Local nonprofit Heart Safe La Plata will offer basic first-aid and CPR trainings in October at Durango Fire and Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive:
A basic first-aid class will be held at 3 p.m. and an adult CPR class will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
An adult, child and infant CPR class for health care providers will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 10.
To register for classes, call 799-3260 or email classes@heartsafelaplata.org. Groups of 10 or more can schedule private classes.
