Pine River Library will host the Heartfelt Communication Workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive.
Communication can be tricky. People sincerely want to connect, understand and contribute in meaningful ways. Many things can get in the way of clear, connected and resourceful communication.
This workshop will be based on nonviolent communication and Brené Brown’s work on shame, vulnerability and wholehearted living. It will also explore how social conditioning adds to the complexities of communication. By navigating with the heart via needs, people can stay connected, get through the entanglements and build stronger, more resourceful relationships at home, work and in life.
