Just the idea of navigating through Connect for Health Colorado to begin or renew health insurance can seem overwhelming.
San Juan Basin Health Department is offering sign-up assistance for extended Saturday hours this week and Dec. 12 for people who aren’t able to meet during regular business hours.
People are asked to schedule appointments for those days.
The health department will also offer a walk-in enrollment and information event about Connect for Health Colorado and Medicaid on Dec. 19. San Juan Basin Health, the La Plata Family Centers Coalition and local insurance brokers will be on hand to answer questions and handle sign-ups at that event.
