I am a loyal Herald subscriber, and mostly you folks get it right. Your coverage of local and regional news is great.
But you totally dropped the ball on Solheim Cup coverage. This is a huge international event with a strong patriotic component. And this year, the American women golfers overcame the largest deficit in history to win the cup.
The Herald’s response? Ho hum. You gave five times as much space to a story about an Australian man winning a single tourney. Would you have covered the Ryder Cup this way? I doubt it. Shame on you.
