Herald endorsing another liberal

Congratulations to The Durango Herald editorial board for their continued dedication to endorsing liberals for Congress, adding none other than Don Coram to the list. Nevermind that the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Gazette in Colorado Springs called Coram corrupt, self-serving, disingenuous and left-leaning because they actually did their homework on his voting record. Nevermind that Coram led the charge in the Senate to decriminalize fentanyl possession to a misdemeanor, helping fuel the deadly crisis Colorado now experiences.

Instead, the Herald cares deeply that Coram can “aw-shuck” his way through a conversation and act like he wants to get along with everyone. The problem is Coram gets along with everyone so he can make himself rich. This horrible endorsement is one more reason the editorial board will be surprised to learn when we voters make our voice heard: We want a candidate who will stick up for our rights, support law enforcement, and we are sick and tired of these career politicians who want to line their own pockets at our expense. Oh what fun it will be to have U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert in the House for another two years, this time in the majority, as every day Americans give a swift kick to those like Coram who simply don’t understand we’ve had enough of their antics.
