Herald ignored important anniversary

On Dec. 7, 1941, 2,389 men and women perished and 1,178 were wounded in what President Roosevelt said was “an act that would live in infamy.” On Dec. 7, 2014, 73 years to the day, The Durango Herald contained one, yes one, mention of this day “that would live in infamy” and that mention was in a cartoon “Red and Rover” by Brian Basset.

Thanks to Basset and shame on The Durango Herald!
