The Herald’s predisposition for left-wing causes has actually gotten worse lately. Saturday’s editorial cartoon about “Don’t Say Homo” with a caricature of Ron DeSantis is a case in point.
Leftist teacher organizations are attempting to indoctrinate or “groom” children between kindergarten and the fourth grade to favor abnormal sexual practices and Florida passed a law that basically says “don’t teach sexuality of any kind to very young children.” The Far Left, including the Herald, it seems, deliberately mischaracterizes the Florida law as “don’t say gay.” Florida’s law says nothing about the word gay but makes it illegal for teachers to indoctrinate young children about sexual preferences favored by the left. Why does the Herald join in by misrepresenting the actual facts? Is The Herald supporting the indoctrination of young schoolchildren? If so, why not openly publish that fact?
