Herald treats Christians unfairly

How dare The Durango Herald vilify Christians and especially Christians who are running for school boards in the article regarding school board candidate Richard “Dean” Hill! Your actions are no better than the U.S. Department of Justice labeling parents concerned about their children’s education as “domestic terrorists.” Shame on The Durango Herald!

I am glad to support Christians for any elected office because I know that they will be governed by moral guidance as written in the Bible. I used my Christian background in every decision I have ever made as a county commissioner, school board member, legislator and in every day life. My Christian beliefs guide me always.

And for your information, the U.S. Constitution does not allow the federal government to mandate any religion, period!

Who in the heck is Harrison Wendt and why is he so important that you use him to spew your disdain for Christians? To make it fair, why did you not interview a Christian? Oh, but The Durango Herald is not about being fair, are you!?

The current board should be ashamed of the test scores that are in the toilet!

I am supporting candidates who will not let critical race theory be taught in our schools, will concentrate on education not social engineering, will be open to parental involvement and will not require our kids to wear masks. I am supporting Dean Hill, Kristina Paslay and Donna Gulec.
