Tickets are on sale through Monday for the annual Animas Museum Culinary Heritage Dinner, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
The dinner, according to the Animas Museum, will deliver a gastronomic salute to the “Swinging Sixties” with long-lost dishes from Durango culinary landmarks. Participants will sample re-creations of menu items from popular spots, such as the Red Barn Bar-B-Que, Silver Spur, the Terrace at the Strater Hotel and Chez Louis.
Tickets are $85 for La Plata County Historical Society members, $100 for nonmembers and must be purchased by Monday to be picked up at will call.
