Whomp whomp: That’s the sound of Corey Lewandowski on national television. He is mocking a six-year-old Down’s Syndrome child who has just been separated from her mother at the border. The interlocutor asked, “How dare you?” Simple, it comes from the top. Trump mocked a disabled reporter in a wheelchair at one of his rallies. Now that’s trickle down.
Whomp whomp: That’s also the sound of this administration bludgeoning the Consumer Protection Agency into nonexistence. Whomp whomp: It’s the sound of Republicans in Congress chopping away at Medicare and Social Security to cut the deficit that the Republicans created by giving billions to the rich. Whomp whomp: And over it all, this is the sound of Trump hacking away at the ties to our allies throughout the world. It appears this administration believes it is making America great again by shaming America throughout the world.
It is the lickspittle Republicans in Congress that are letting Trump do this. That includes our House member, who is in lockstep with Trump and his White House. So how about whomp whomp as the sound of we voters frog marching our so-called representative, Scott Tipton, out of Congress in November. Replacing him with the Democratic nominee can’t go any further wrong than all this whomping that is dismantling our American democracy.
