Since at least President George H.W. Bush’s term the Republican mantra was "No new taxes."
So, now we have Trump unilaterally raising taxes on all Americans with his foolish tariffs and trade war. Where are all those Republicans speaking out?
New taxes are okay if you call them tariffs? The hypocrisy is nothing less than staggering.
