Striking photographs of snow-covered bison by Rich Miller grace the stairway at Pine River Valley Bank. Miller's and Baukat's works are on display at the bank through May 1.
Yep! Even at a bank! Pine River Valley Bank, as part of its monthly art shows, is displaying a combination of hand-crafted fiber works and photography in April. Crochet artist Donna Mae Baukat uses soft fibers, pewter clasps and faux fur to create one-of-a-kind works. The pieces had females at the art show opening oohing and ahing over their softness. Her company, Baukat Couture, sells both ready-to-wear and custom works.
Photographer Rich Miller captures images of wildlife and Colorado scenery. His works have been shown extensively in Durango. He has visited every national park in the continental U.S., accompanied by his wife, Marci.
