Animas High School juniors taught by Jessica McCallum will present their humanities rhetoric and ideology exhibition, “De-constructing America,” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Student Union Building at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
Students will engage in discourse about a variety of controversial topics in an effort to build understanding and find common ground in a divisive political climate, and they will hold a Socratic seminar about how to bridge the political divide to find common ground, based on Willing to be Disturbed by Margaret Wheatley.
The event is open to the public.
