U.S. Highway 550 reopened about 4:40 p.m. after a rollover crash north of Coal Bank Pass on Thursday.

A single car was southbound when it rolled, said Capt. Adrian Driscoll with the Colorado State Patrol.

The highway closed completely for about 10 minutes shortly before 4 p.m. because of the crash, and later, traffic was sharing one lane.

The man who was driving the car had moderate injuries and was cited for careless driving, Driscoll said.
