The Herald’s Oct. 27 story on anterior hip surgery is hardly new. This surgery has been practiced here in Durango for a few years now by Dr. Brinceton Phipps (with great results, I might add). In case you forgot, you ran an article on this surgery and Dr. Phipps two or more years ago.
