The San Juan Mountains Association has received a grant to study three Hispano cemeteries in the historic settlements of Pagosa Junction/Gato, Juanita and Trujillo in Archuleta County.
The sites are near the San Juan River and the newly designated Tracks Across Borders Byway. Research and fieldwork will begin shortly.
