The Durango Historic Preservation Board will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Smith Chambers, Durango City Hall, 949 East Second Ave.
The board’s mission is to protect and preserve the city’s historic and cultural heritage as embodied in designated historic landmarks and districts by appropriate regulations.
The board reviews nominations to the Durango Historic Register, reviews alterations to historic structures, provides help to property owners with historic structures, develops programs to enhance historic preservation in the city, and provides public education.
