Jeff Sambur will tell the true story of his parents’ escape from Europe during the Holocaust years at a presentation at 5:30 p.m. April 12 at Congregation Har Shalom. 2537 County Road 203.
The talk will be a personal, informative and at times entertaining account of his family’s history. The presentation won’t be all gloom and will end on a feel-good, hopeful message.
In memory and honor of Jeff’s uber-Jewish mother, savory vegetable “Minnesota” soup will also be served, so Eat! Eat!
