Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado will host its 25th annual Contractors Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 26 in the Durango High School parking lot.
The yard sale will feature building materials from HBASC members and their supply vendors to the public and will raise funds for various community housing causes.
This year, the focus will be on the Trades in Training and SkillsUSA programs that offer trades and life skill training to high school students and provides work experience and certifications to enter the workforce right out of high school.
The Tool Up program offers basic tools to graduating students moving straight into the trades and the Building the Future scholarship program offers financial aid to students seeking higher education in the trades.
