Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado recently started accepting applications for 2018 “Building for the Future” scholarships.
Up to $10,000 in scholarship funding will be awarded to area high school seniors who are pursuing post-secondary education in the construction industry. Applications are available in counseling offices at Durango, Animas, Bayfield, Ignacio, Mancos and Pagosa Springs high schools, and at the HBASC office, 463 Turner Drive, Suite 104B.
Application deadline is 5 p.m. March 9.
Scholarships will be awarded during the April 12 Home Builders meeting at the Strater Hotel.
