HomesFund will host a Homebuyer Education class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 14 at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
The class will help attendees understand the programs offered by HomesFund; understand credit score reports and how to improve a credit score; review household budgets and learn tips to save for a down payment and reduce debt; learn the pros and cons of buying a home; understand monthly mortgage payments and closing costs; learn how to choose between mortgage loan options; and understand purchase contracts.
