HomesFund will host a Homebuyer Education Class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
The class will cover: Understanding the programs offered by HomesFund; understanding a credit score report and how to improve a credit score; reviewing a household budget and learning tips to save for a down payment and reduce debt; learning the pros and cons of buying a home; understanding monthly mortgage payments and closing costs; selecting the best mortgage option and understanding purchase contracts.
