Hopi dances return to Mesa Verde National Park in July

The Lomayestewa family performs traditional Hopi deer dance at Mesa Verde National Park.

The Lomayestewa family of Shungopovi Village in Second Mesa, Arizona, will perform traditional Hopi dances at 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. July 1-2 at the Mesa Verde National Park Visitor and Research Center, 35853 County Road H, Mancos.

The family has performed dances each summer at Mesa Verde for nearly 30 years.
