Runners and walkers took part in the 19th annual Journey of Hope on Saturday at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango. The 5-kilometer family fun walk/run raises money to provide free mammograms to women who otherwise cannot afford them. Proceeds from the 10-kilometer Colors for Cancer run go to Mercy’s Cancer Center, supporting community members with all types of cancer.
