La Plata County will conduct road maintenance from Tuesday to Dec. 29 on Horse Gulch Road in Horse Gulch Open Space, which is located at the end of East Third Street off of East Eighth Avenue.
Work will be conducted from the gate at the northeastern end of Horse Gulch Road, adjacent to the Sugar Trail, to the Horse Gulch trailhead at East Third Street.
Trail users can expect heavy equipment in the area through Dec. 29.
