Thirty-two kids sharpened their riding skills at Horse Camp during the weekend. Rhonda Ledford, president of the La Plata County Horse Council, which sponsors the 4-H event every year, said kids ages 8 to 16 from La Plata, Archuleta, and Montezuma Counties get to practice for future horse shows, gymkhanas and fairs.
