Hospice of Mercy will host Soup for the Soul benefit from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.
Soup for the Soul provides nourishment for both the body and the soul, giving guests an opportunity to taste soups, appetizers and desserts from some of the area’s finest restaurants, while at the same time giving them the gratifying feeling that they have helped so many in need of hospice care.
Proceeds will continue to support terminally ill patients and their families through the dedicated team of doctors, nurses, chaplains, bereavement counselors, social workers and volunteers.
