Fellowship-trained palliative care and hospice physician Dr. Lesley Ann Barbour has joined Mercy Home Health and Hospice of Mercy.
Barbour earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Arizona. She completed her residency in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center and her fellowship in palliative care and hospice at the University of New Mexico.
Before joining Mercy, Barbour served as the associate medical director at Kindred Hospice in Albuquerque, and she provided care at Albuquerque’s Lovelace Medical Center Emergency Department.
Hospice of Mercy offers in-home and residential hospice care designed to help patients reach their end-of-life goals. Mercy Home Health offers palliative care services to patients at Mercy Regional Medical Center or wherever the patient calls home.
