Housing Solutions for the Southwest plans to submit an application requesting Proposition 123 funding and/or other funding in an application to the state of Colorado, Department of Local Affairs. This application is for the Single Family Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program to serve residents in La Plata, Dolores, Montezuma, Archuleta and San Juan (Colorado) counties.
This program provides low-interest loans to homeowners who income qualify to repair health, safety and other maintenance items to homes. It would serve households that are at or below 100% area median income for the county in which they live, including residents who have low or moderate income.
Housing Solutions welcomes feedback about this matter. We encourage citizen input, especially by people who income qualify for the program. A copy of the application as submitted is available by contacting Housing Solutions.
The grant submission deadline is July 31.
