Durango Fire Protection District, Durango City Council, La Plata County, Bureau of Land Management, San Juan National Forest officials: Please, you are obligated to let the residents of Durango know how the fires at Perins Peak and Twin Buttes started. Transparency is required in your roles. I live in the south Crestview area. Durango citizens should be notified on the causes of these fires as they threaten our homes and beautiful open space.
