How green is my valley

Vallecito and its surrounding valleys and mountains are almost ridiculously green this summer, thanks to May rains that filled the reservoir and watered meadows and hay fields. Vallecito Reservoir is full, with the Pine River running at higher-than-usual flows after threatening to flood in May. No major damage was reported by property owners on the river.
