The Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run will begin at 6 a.m. Friday in front of the Silverton School. Spain’s Kilian Jornet will go for a third consecutive men’s title, while New Zealand’s Anna Frost will look to claim a second championship and become a “True Hardrocker” by finishing the race in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. As the 152 runners tackle the 100½-mile course that goes from Silverton to Telluride, Ouray, Lake City over 14er Handies Peak and back to Silverton, you can follow along with the action Friday and Saturday with The Durango Herald.
