La Plata County moved the Department of Human Services from the La Plata County Courthouse and Riverbend North Campus to 10 Burnett Court at the Tech Center in Durango.
Public transportation to 10 Burnett Court is available upon request of the driver on the Crestview/West Route 4.
Human Services opened for business in their new location on Tuesday, Jan. 19. with limited services, transitioning to full services by the end of the week.
Human services offers the county's programs in adoption, adult services for senior citizens, children and family services, child support enforcement, financial support services and senior and veteran services.
