The 11th Annual Bark & Wine Fundraiser Gala will take place from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Grand Ballroom at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive.
The gala benefits the La Plata County Humane Society, and the evening will include a live and silent auction, photo booth, presentation of the Animal Advocate of the Year award, dinner, dessert and music.
Money raised at this year’s event will go toward providing emergency services, behavioral and medical rehabilitation and courtesy hold services. These are otherwise un-reimbursed services that cost the humane society upward of about $100,000 yearly.
