Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced that hunters can check the latest backcountry travel, fire and closure information with U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management agencies.

To check federally-managed lands, visit BLM information at www.blm.gov.
Bow hunters and muzzle-loader hunters concerned about closures should check conditions as soon as possible. The bow season starts Aug. 25 and the muzzle-loader season starts Sept. 8.
