It is no secret the Trump administration is working hard to see that a requiem will be dirged for our country and the government that was exemplar to the world. And the sooner the better.
All for what?
To now have presidential vengeance be the primary job of our DOJ?
To release us from the dreamed-up shackles of a “woke” culture (Read: mountains/mole hills)?
To put our military on our streets to quell nonexistent rebellion?
To redefine and restrict our electoral process?
All for what?
To feed the ego of an aged megalomaniac liar, and to accommodate the perverse visions of those who authored Project 2025.
This is not patriotism. This is wanton destruction of our democracy for no constructive, collective purpose.
You can slather as much lipstick on that pig as you want, but the fact remains that life in an autocracy is a life in fear, not opportunity. If you think there is Deep State now, try it under a dictator.
It is one thing for people who are involved in their busy daily lives of families and work to not find time to speak out against these transgressions. It is another for our CD3 representative, whose job it is to speak out, to remain silent and thereby be complicit.
We all need to speak out in opposition to these travesties, especially our representative whose voice should carry more weight than any of his constituents, and should not just be heard singing in the Requiem Choir.
