The Durango Herald and I are parting ways. Reading yesterday’s horoscope just doesn’t do it. Finding out what’s going on in town Saturday morning on Saturday afternoon doesn’t work either.
What have I learned over the years? The only thing sustainable in Colorado is the Democrats’ thirst for more of our money. The Republicans run a close second; if we keep giving it to them they will keep taking it. Thank goodness for Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights.
Ten thousand years ago the North American continent was covered with ice. Thank goodness for climate change. During the eclipse reporting I was informed that the sun warms the earth, I like warm; it’s so much better than cold.
The water in Lake Nighthorse belongs to Colorado, not Nevada. For more than 30 years, some folks fought that project, costing it additional time and millions of dollars extra. The folks who delayed the project now think it’s cool and want it all for themselves.
The sad truth, some folks hate our president, the flag, our history and folks who have opposing views. To top it all off, some folks are more concerned with immigrants who want to kill us, and with alpine pikas, rather than unborn humans.
