I guess I’m getting old. I speak fluent Finnish, a fair amount of Russian, some French and Spanish, and made straight As in college English.
But I’ll be darned if I could understand more than “the” and “and” in the article, “Here’s what you need to know about ESPN’s new streaming service and its deals with the NFL and WWE” (Herald, Aug. 8).
I’m pushing 80 now, and I sure like sitting in my armchair and just flipping channels as I please from game to game, be it ESPN, ABC, Fox or whatever and whenever I want without additional cost and bother.
And, by the way, thank you, thank you, Mr. Ballantine, for my paper paper.
