The Herald made several assumptions in your “Keep pot funds” in your Oct. 12 editorial. People did approve the sale of marijuana because they wanted more money for schools. They voted so they could consume it.

Does it make any sense to sell marijuana to enable drug abuse, tax the sale, and then use the money for marijuana drug abuse? Of course not!

I want my tax refund. I am then going to donate the money to Manna Soup Kitchen which has to deal with the increase influx of homeless people moving to Durango to smoke the drug.
