The Hisatsinom Chapter of the Colorado Archaeology Society will hold a presentation, “The First Americans: Migration Routes and Adaptations in the Ice Age,” by Jesse Tune at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park St. in Cortez.
Tune will discuss recent archaeological and genetic research and how archaeologists are using it to identify origins of the first Americans.
