On Feb. 25, the Ignacio Town Board approved the annexation of a section of County Road 320 into the town of Ignacio.
The portion of the road is between the new middle and elementary schools. The town has already been maintaining the road, but Town Manager Mark Garcia said the annexation formalizes the deal. The road will be renamed Romero Avenue.
