Pat Knight, an Ignacio artist and former instructor at San Juan College, will show her works in May at Pine River Valley Bank in Durango.
An opening reception will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the bank at 1701 Main Ave.
Knight has been a driving force in promoting the arts in the Four Corners area by teaching and participating in regional shows.
She works in photography, printmaking and painting. She was the adjunct instructor of photography at San Juan College and co-chaired the planning and managing of the regional and national juried shows at the Civic Center and The Gateway Museum in Farmington.
Her works have won numerous awards, are featured in private collections all over the Southwest and are in the permanent collection of San Juan College. She also has shown at the New Mexico State Fair.
