Bobcats want to keep winning streaks, Wolverines need wins

The valley basketball teams play their annual rivalry Tuesday night as the Ignacio Bobcats take on the Bayfield Wolverines inside the BHS gym.
Tipoff for girls varsity is at 5:30 p.m., the boys are set to take the court at 7 p.m.
The Ignacio girls are undefeated in the San Juan Basin League and are taking on a Wolverine team still looking for its first win of the season.
On the boys' side, Ignacio is 7-1 in league play, having defeated Ouray on Saturday. The Bayfield boys started strong earlier this season, but have stumbled since, losing two league games this weekend against Centauri and Alamosa.
