The Ignacio High School football team announced a late change in its schedule on Monday.
Ignacio, which was scheduled to open the season Friday night against Crownpoint out of New Mexico, will now open the season on Saturday against Bloomfield High School’s junior varsity squad.
Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. Saturday at Ignacio High School. That also moved up times for the Ignacio volleyball triangular meet against Del Norte and Monte Visita, with matches to begin at 9 a.m.
