Ignacio school board cancels elections

Ignacio School Board Elections have been cancelled, and Kara Pearson and Lisa Ruybal are declared elected by acclamation.

Two seats were open for the Nov. 3 election, and with two candidates submitting petitions, there is no need to hold an election.

The board's next scheduled monthly meeting is set for Thursday, Oct. 12 in the administration building.
