Universal preschool from the Ignacio School District and Ignacio Early Learning Program will begin in August. It will serve prekindergarten students who are 4 years old (one year away from kindergarten). Children will qualify for at least 15 hours per week. Children with at-risk factors will qualify for 30 hours per week.
Registration must be done on the state website at UPK.Colorado.gov. Select the Ignacio Early Learning Program.
It is important to know how many students will attend in the fall to ensure staffing, classrooms and resources.
