On May 5, Ignacio Baseball's two active-duty seniors were recognized after their final game at IHS Field. With father Steve Chapman and grandmother Norma Conley to his right, Marcus Chapman was the only Bobcat to score in a 14-1 loss to 3A Montezuma-Cortez. With mother Mikki Naranjo, grandmother Dixie Naranjo and cousin Tauri Raines all to his left, Kai Roubideaux struck out seven M-CHS hitters during the game. Testing their knowledge, the duo then served as base coaches during the junior varsity's subsequent 21-9 loss.
