Ignacio Skills USA students heading to state

Students from Ignacio High School will compete at the Colorado Skills USA competition April 17-21 in Colorado Springs.

Ignacio's Skills USA program has a whopping 11 students competing in various categories of state competition in vocational studies. The state event is April 17-21 in Colorado Springs.

Team members who qualified for state are Jaylene Riepil and Diego Valencia in cabinet making; Chaston Cundiff in welding sculpture; Hannah Cuniff and Randy Leach; Mitchel Neil in welding sclupture; Kendall Kaer in first aid and CPR; Amanda Henderson in CPR; Victoria Riehl and Abbi Barthel in photography; and John Gurule in hat design.

Molly Turner is the club's advisor at Ignacio High School.
