Two students from Ignacio High School achieved the American Degree, an achievement less than 1% of most students achieve before the end of their Future Farmers of America careers.
Heile Pearson and Lucas Roderick, two recent graduates of IHS and active members within the national FFA organization at Ignacio, showcased their years of hard work and determination by working for five years to achieve the highest degree bestowed on FFA students.
Both Pearson and Roderick will be recognized at the 93rd National FFA Convention, hosted virtually this year, as they receive their American Degree Key and plaque, commemorating their success and work through FFA.
