Sam West Jr., 2, seizes his opportunity to reach out and touch the season at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot Monday. The toddler and his parents, Sam and Nikki West of Durango, were touring the museum, and Sam couldn’t resist the giant inflatable jack-o’-lantern near the depot, which is promoting the Pumpkin Patch Express train.
